Forum Paracelsus
Spiral light sculpture
For REFLECTION 2026 in St. Moritz, Studio Light Mariano engineered, produced, and created Marinella Senatore's spiral light sculpture for the Kulturstiftung St. Moritz, installed at the Paracelsus Forum as part of the I CONTAIN MULTITUDES project.
The structure integrates 90 acrylic candles, over 150 meters of LEDs, decorative aluminum leaves, and a large luminous sun, connecting light art, contemporary illuminations, design, and historic architecture.

Reflection 2026
For REFLECTION 2026, the public art program of the Kulturstiftung St. Moritz, Studio Light Mariano oversaw the engineering, production, and realization of Marinella Senatore's light installation in Plazza da Scoula (Schulhausplatz), St. Moritz, part of the project I CONTAIN MULTITUDES. Marinella Senatore's illuminations in St. Moritz were produced and realized by Studio Light Mariano, translating the artistic project into a monumental, self-supporting structure up to 6 meters high and 10 meters in diameter.
The site-specific work combines contemporary art, Italian illuminations, light design, artisanal production, and structural design in the public space of St. Moritz.
Lichtparcours Braunschweig Espalier
In the heart of Braunschweig, the façade of the Landessparkasse Braunschweig lights up and becomes an architecture of light. For the Lichtparcours 2024 art exhibition, Studio Light Mariano created a monumental luminaria, 9 meters high and 22 meters wide, designed by artist Marinella Senatore. Using light and architecture, the work aims to foster reflection and collective participation, transforming the surrounding space into a device for connection and perception.
Amsterdam Light Festival
Canal Backrest
On Amsterdam's Herengracht canal, the illuminations reflect on the water and flow like an animated luminous sign. Marinella Senatore's "I Contain Multitudes" is not just a light installation, but an invitation to participation: an architecture that breathes with the urban space and those who pass through it.
Rooted in the Italian tradition of illuminations but projected into the contemporary, the structure translates the artistic concept into a light capable of exciting, surprising, and connecting with the surrounding environment, creating an experience that lingers in the memory of those who experience it.
Rebibbia Tree
Designed by Marinella Senatore and created by Studio Light Mariano, the Rebibbia Tree combines materials such as wood, steel, acrylic, and aluminum, translating the artistic vision into a luminous architecture composed of neon flex and LED strips capable of engaging with the Rebibbia community, establishing a relationship between art, community, and philosophy.
Cassarmonica – Kobe
The Cassarmonica, enhanced by the lights of the Christmas illuminations, is transformed into an extraordinary blend of tradition and innovation.
The design of the structure not only respects the classical principles of form, but with the integration of the Christmas illuminations, the work is enriched by a continuous movement, creating a play of reflections and shadows.
Napoli Contemporanea
In the Chiaia district of Naples, Studio Light Mariano has created two site-specific light installations designed by Marinella Senatore: a tree with a large sun reaching a height of 6 meters and a 14-meter-wide luminous espalier. Both freestanding and designed for outdoor use, they combine opal acrylic, light, and geometry in dialogue with the urban space.
Marcantonio - Pescasseroli
In 2024, the Municipality of Pescasseroli was transformed into a luminous work of art thanks to the collaboration between Studio Light Mariano and artist Marcantonio. For the Christmas holidays, the project reinterpreted the tradition of Christmas illuminations through innovative design and a creative use of technology, imbuing the urban landscape with a magical and captivating atmosphere.
Tiffany – Bird on Rock
For Tiffany & Co., a custom-made light sculpture is inspired by “Bird on a Rock”, one of the most iconic motifs created by Jean Schlumberger for the Maison. Installed on the top of The Landmark by Tiffany, on 5th Avenue in New York, the work translates a historical symbol of the brand into a monumental luminous presence visible in the urban skyline.
The sculpture, made of steel and aluminium, reaches 6 meters in height and weighs approximately 1,300 kg. The light system integrates over 50,000 microLEDs, 3.5 km of LED strips, 4 actuators and 10 sensors, combining scenography, engineering and movement control.
The installation is designed to come alive through mechanized movements: the large bird can open its wings up to 4 meters, rotate its head and move its tail, creating a direct relationship between light, movement and architecture. The project was developed in approximately four months with the contribution of an international team of over 22 professionals.
The work represents an intervention that brings light sculpture, animatronics, LED technology and luxury retail design into dialogue, reinterpreting the visual identity of Tiffany & Co. through an iconic installation designed for the urban facade of New York.
Arte Peccioli
For the MACCA – Open-Air Museum of Contemporary Art in Peccioli, Tuscany, Marinella Senatore and Studio Light Mariano developed We Rise by Lifting Others, a permanent, site-specific light installation custom-designed to integrate with the building's façade and roof. The structure, made entirely of aluminum, transforms the architecture into a public space dedicated to encounter and participation.
Cracco Restaurant
From 5 April to 2 May 2023, the Cracco Gallery in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan hosted the work by Marinella Senatore entitled "We rise by lifting others". This exhibition, created by Studio Light Mariano, is inspired by the traditional illuminations of southern Italy, exploits the symbolic power of light to convey a positive message to the community: "We elevate ourselves by lifting others". Since 2016, Senatore has created large site-specific light installations. These works reinterpret Baroque architectural forms in a contemporary key, focusing mainly on rose windows and portals and focusing on the importance of community and the power of art and participation.
Olive Tree
The design of a luminous tree, a symbol of prosperity, enchanted guests at a wedding in India. A perfect blend of art, light, and love. Every detail matters. Art and technique come together to create a one-of-a-kind luminous tree. A small glimpse of how precision meets passion. The pinnacle of magic: our luminous tree shines in the embrace of the night, illuminating the DLF Golf and Country Club. More than an installation, a symbol of eternal love.
Bulgari Serpenti
For BVLGARI, "Serpenti" is a monumental and interactive light installation inspired by one of the Maison's most iconic symbols, installed on the shores of Seokchon Lake in Seoul. The 60-meter-long, self-supporting structure integrates 5 km of RGB LEDs and over 150,000 microLEDs, with lighting effects controllable via an app.
Bulgari Spark Tree
Spark Tree Shanghai 66 Plaza. The holiday season is approaching, and BVLGARI presents a Christmas tree art installation to illuminate the dreamy night. The creation is an artistic light installation with the theme "I Believe in Wonder." The luminous star elements present the wonder of magical illumination.
Tiffany Christmas Sphere
For Tiffany & Co.'s Christmas decorations, inspired by Andy Warhol's historic illustrations for the brand, the company designed and created custom light installations inspired by the tradition of Apulian illuminations. A Christmas bauble and a large star-shaped light composition combined craftsmanship, light design, and LED technology for the world of luxury retail.
Tiffany Birds
For Tiffany & Co.'s Christmas decorations, inspired by Andy Warhol's graphic imagery, a series of painted metal birds were created for the boutique facades. The sculptures, up to 4 meters in length, are enhanced by backlit LED strips that create plays of light and depth on the architecture.

Marinella Senatore
In Baden-Baden, Germany, the Art Meets City project brought three works by Marinella Senatore to the Kurgarten and the Kurhaus, including a site-specific light installation created for the building's façade. This project intertwines public art, architecture, light, and collective participation.
