For the new opening of the "Luigia" restaurant in Basel, Studio Light Mariano developed a dramatic lighting project to enhance both the interior and the entrance.

Outside, strips of lamps illuminate the entrance, while a custom Forex ceiling rosette featuring the iconography of Pulcinella, a symbol of the restaurant and Neapolitan culture, reinterprets Neapolitan tradition and the art of illuminations in a contemporary key.

Inside, luminous strings wrap around the columns, and ceiling decorations illuminate the space, embellished with wall lights, illuminated signs, and gold-finish ceiling roses, introducing plays of light and visual rhythm, creating narrative continuity between the different spaces.

Completing the project, a multicolored chandelier captures the scene and draws diners' attention.

The lights, made mostly of wood and illuminated by E14 bulbs, create a luminous path that accompanies guests on an engaging experience, from the moment they enter and beyond their stay at the table.
