Bulgari Serpenti

For BVLGARI, the international high jewelry Maison, “Serpenti” is a large custom-made light installation inspired by the Maison’s eponymous symbol and designed to accompany the brand’s openings, events, and special displays.With a total length of approximately 60 meters, "Serpenti" represents the company's first free-standing and interactive installation. The structure integrates approximately 5 km of RGB LED lights and over 150,000 microLEDs, combining structural design, lighting design, and digital control systems.

The installation can be controlled via a smartphone app, allowing for the modification of lighting schedules, sequences, and effects, introducing an interactive component to the visitor experience. Designed and produced in just six months, the work combines light sculpture, LED technology, custom design, and luxury retail, translating BVLGARI's visual identity into a luminous presence on a monumental scale. The gigantic luminous sculpture, characterised by plays of light and fascinating artisanal details, had already been proposed, again for Bulgari, in 2013 in Shanghai.
